Lifetime Tennis Schools Clubs

Our goal is to make tennis a more accessible sport within schools that are in local catchment areas around our Community Tennis Clubs. We aim to increase the number of juniors from a diverse range of backgrounds that are given the opportunity to regularly play in a comprehensive tennis program at the school while providing them with exit routes back to our local Lifetime Tennis Community Club.

Over the last few seasons our School Outreach Program has grown significantly and now sits firmly at the heart of our Junior Tennis program. By developing strong relationships with local schools, parents and teachers we are able to make tennis a more appealing sports option and set more kids along the tennis development pathway.

What we offer

  • Free and subsidised curriculum time PE lesson planning, support and delivery
  • Subsidised after Schools Clubs run by Lifetime Tennis
  • Schools Mini Tennis Tournaments supported and/or delivered by Lifetime Tennis
  • School Tennis Team Coaching and Program Development
  • Cardio Tennis, Touch Tennis and other accessible tennis activities offered
  • Clear Pathways for continued participation outside of school hours at a local Lifetime Club

Wandsworth Area

We have developed a strong schools – club link with All Farthing Primary School over several years and deliver Curriculum time coaching; After Schools Clubs; Schools Mini Tennis Tournaments on site at the school and at the Aspire Centre.

For many years now Lifetime Tennis has run Hurlingham School’s after schools tennis clubs. In 2015 we have also started a Saturday club specifically for the school at our 16 court facility – Barn Elms Sports Centre. All bookings are made internally through the school.

Students form schools within the local catchment area in Wandsworth are invited to attend these subsidised indoor outdoor after school clubs offered on a year round basis.

Putney / Barnes Area

We have developed a strong schools – club link with St Mary’s Primary School over several years and deliver Curriculum time coaching and pathways onto Lifetime Tennis program at Barn Elms Sports Centre

Clapham Area

We have developed a strong schools – club link with Clapham Manor over several years and deliver Curriculum time coaching; After Schools Clubs; Schools Mini Tennis Tournaments on site at the school and at the Clapham Leisure Centre.

Many Wix students play at our Clapham Community Tennis club so we were pleased to be able to deliver an after school club on site at the school this year too. Registrations are made directly through the school.

Dulwich / Herne Hill Area

We have developed a strong schools – club link with Rosemead over the last year and will be coaching all of the after schools tennis clubs this year. Alongside this we will be supporting on games afternoons as part of our commitment to growing tennis participation around the Rosendale Playing fields. Schools Tennis Clubs are booked directly with the school.

We have developed a strong schools – club link with Rosendale Primary over the last year and will be coaching all of the after schools tennis clubs this year. Alongside this we will be running tennis within the PE curriculum as part of our commitment to growing tennis participation around the Rosendale Playing fields club. Schools Tennis Clubs are booked directly with the school.

Alongside this we will be running tennis within the PE curriculum as part of our commitment to growing tennis participation around the Rosendale Playing fields club. Schools Tennis Clubs are booked directly with the school.

Many St Judes students play with Lifetime Tennis at Rosendale Playing Fields, so it is really good news that we will be delivering a FREE curriculum time program at the school this year during PE.
