We have had so much fun teaching everyone this year and watching the progress of our players has been really inspiring. It reinforces why we started our community tennis clubs in the first place – to help people from all ages and backgrounds come together to create real local communities of tennis players. This can be a challenge in such a large city but I think Luis, Dan and Patrick deserve some recognition for the great job they do in helping to build this friendly community spirit within the club.

We already have some good ideas around developing even more local club competition opportunities for adults and juniors in 2015 and that is what we will be concentrating on in the new year. A growing number of Teams and League competition participants is a good indicator of the health of any tennis club. With added team competition activities comes extra responsibilities for team captains – to everyone who took on a captains role, team competitions don't happen without you so a HUGE WELL DONE! Special mention must go to Phil – your organisation of the Clapham Team Christmas Dinner has been AMAZING!

We feel very happy and fortunate to have such a great bunch of members, so thank you all for a brilliant 2014 and we hope you all have a great holiday break.

We have been busy getting the 2015 program ready – I know many of you are already on the ball and have booked but see below for a summary of the tennis program activities that will be running from 5th January 2015

Thanks again from the Lifetime Tennis Team
