Saturday Morning Tennis Clubs

Lifetime Tennis has run the Hurlingham School Saturday Tennis Clubs at Barn Elms sports Centre for the last 5 years. These clubs give children from the school a great opportunity to learn tennis at this 16 court tennis facility.

Students in Reception, Year 1 and 2 play mini-tennis on the Red Sized tennis courts with modified equipment that helps create an environment allowing children to gain success quickly.

Students in Year 3 and 4 progress on to play on larger courts and with equipment appropriate for this age range.

The emphasis in both classes is on developing the skills to be able to rally and play games/matches quickly through learning the foundation technique for all the tennis shots.

Many of the students from the Hurlingham tennis clubs have gone on to join our Development Squads after participating  in these sessions.
