Lifetime to continue Junior Tennis at Wandle Rec – From April 2013

Our full program has been approved by the Wandle Rec centre and will run 4 days per week on the all weather floodlit playing surface. It is an ideal venue for mini tennis and the amenities are also an improvement on KGP with toilets and indoor areas for parents to escape the cold if necessary. There will be much on offer for players 4-10 years from beginner level through to advanced LTA league team squads running. We are excited about the coming year and can’t wait to see how all our players develop!

Lifetime to leave KGP and Leaders Gardens April 1 2013

Unfortunately the club wasn't successful in tendering with Wandsworth Council for a new contract at these sites. The good news however is that we will still have a strong presence in the borough with our full mini tennis program running year round from Wandle Rec Centre which has been our winter base for the last 4 years. We can run LTA mini-tennis from 4-10 years and have classes for beginners through to our high level LTA league teams already online. We are also currently talking with several other local venues with the goal being to run both adult and junior sessions locally. With such a great group of players and coaches we are trying our best to find opportunities keep playing together. We will keep everyone posted on developments over the comingcouple of weeks! Thanks for all the suggestions of alternative venues – if you have any ideas do let us know.

Junior Term Time Classes/Squads Under Lights & Indoors

With so many players improving it is important that we were able to secure playing time mid week under lights outside and indoors at the Wandle Rec Centre (next to King George's Park). This will mean that our regular tem time classes and squads can continue to improve without any long breaks. We are hoping to develop lights at King George's Park in partnership with the council in the future but until then this is the next best option.

Adult Winter Tournament Begins, 26 Oct – 30 Nov
